E64 – KHO KRADEN TO KHO PHI PHI

We let go the mooring at Kho Kraden, one of our now favorite anchorages between Langkawi and Phuket, and head further north towards Phuket. As we depart Kho Kraden, we get a proper tropical soaking before the sun reappears, the wind drops away and we find ourselves motoring, yet again to our destination.

We try to find an anchorage in the large sheltered bay on the SE side of Kho Phi Phi, but the water is very deep right up to the reef and unbelievably crowded. In the end, we bail and anchor about half way up, on the eastern side of Kho Phi Phi in 10m of water. It’s warm, sunny and stunning, so I’m in for a swim !
