E66 – LANGKAWI TO KHO ROK
Departing Langkawi (Again) bound for Kho Rok
After our last episode, where we arrived at Phuket Haven Marina, our ancient GoPro 7 decided to have issues and we lost and couldn’t make any new content for the entire trip back to Langkawi from Phuket. So through the magic of your own imagination, just imagine we had a sunny, perfect sailing trip back to Langkawi !
This episode picks up again in Langkawi, where we replaced the SD Card and Battery in our GoPro 7 and got it working again. Before departure, I jumped into the Galley for my signature dish…homemade pizza! I try to have a pizza night maybe every week or two, to give Tan a break from the galley and also because I make great pizza !
On a peaceful morning, we motored out of Telaga Harbor Marina and headed east, then north, passing the odd returning fishing boat. Finding a little wind around the northern tip of Langkawi, we set some sail and motor sailed all the way to picturesque Koh Rok where we found another well maintained public mooring provided by Thai National Parks.
