E71 – TELAGA HARBOUR MARINA TO SINGA BESAR

Heading to Singa Besar

A quick trip to Singa Besar, about 10nm south of Telaga Harbor where we stumbled on the fortnightly cruising yachtie beach BBQ.

Decision made – Australia !

While we were there, we were forced to make a decision to stay in SE Asia and risk being left with no money, or sail back to Australia and get our lazy buts back to work. Well, seeing as Starlight is a sail training vessel in the Whitsundays, North Queensland, and I still get to sail when we get back, we made the decision to start the 5,000nm trip home in this episode. It’s daunting, but honestly, I love making passage, so the next 3-4 months will bring lots of new challenges and experiences.
