E79 – PULAU TUKSABANGMAS TO MESANAK ISLAND

Departing Pulau Tuksabangmas

We spent a calm and peaceful night at Pulau Tuksabangmas and sailed gently out the next morning for more beating to windward in light airs and calm seas. Starlight, like most sail boats likes these kind of conditions as she can create her own wind as she moves forward, but still have smooth seas for fast sailing

Pulau Unpronounceable

We elected to take an anchorage at an island I cannot pronounce and it turned out to be a good choice. We anchored in about 8m of water and were protected almost 360 degrees.

Pulau Mesanak

We continued tacking south in light airs the next day and finally anchored at Pulau Mesanak where we took the opportunity to effect a headsail repair that had been needed for a long time.
